Over the past decade, we have built a reputation for solving complex challenges across the public sector through commercial thinking, operational excellence, and trusted partnerships. Our work spans construction, planned maintenance, property acquisition, investment, and strategic advisory, always with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.
As we enter the next stage of our growth, we are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead the business.
This is not a turnaround opportunity. It is an opportunity to build upon strong foundations, lead an experienced team, and shape the future of an organization with significant growth ambitions.
The Opportunity
The Managing Director will assume responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the business, ensuring operational excellence while delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
You will be empowered to make decisions, strengthen our culture, and develop the next generation of leaders.
The Executive Chairman will focus on long-term strategy, investment, governance, and major stakeholder relationships, allowing you the autonomy to lead the business and execute the agreed strategic plan.
This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious leader to make a lasting impact within an organization that values integrity, entrepreneurship, accountability, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance of the company, taking full accountability for operational delivery and financial performance.
- Deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth through disciplined commercial leadership.
- Develop and execute the business plan agreed with the Board.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen operational systems, governance, and reporting to support continued growth.
- Identify new commercial opportunities across the public and private sectors.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, local authorities, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure the business continues to deliver exceptional client outcomes while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Provide regular reporting to the Board on performance, opportunities, and strategic risks.
- Champion innovation, operational efficiency, and service excellence across every part of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
