Managing Director

Managing Director (Interim) – Manufacturing Transformation

Location: Worcestershire Salary: Christmas £150,000 p.a (pro-rata equivalent) Start Date: On or before 1<sup>st</sup> August 2024


About the Role

An interim, high-impact Managing Director opportunity to lead a well-resourced, ambitious senior team through a strategic transformation.

The goal: accelerate market share growth, boost profitability, and future-proof the organisation—delivering immediate impact while nurturing long-term growth.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and execute a transformational manufacturing strategy, including:

    • Market opportunity assessment and organisational optimization
    • Automation implementation to enhance productivity, quality, and yield
    • Introduction of new product derivatives into the portfolio
    • Expansion of market share and profitability
  • Foster a performing, agile, entrepreneurial culture supported by cutting-edge resources and infrastructure.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Proven Managing Director or executive-level leadership experience, with a strong background in manufacturing operations.
  • Direct experience in transforming businesses through:
    • Organisational restructuring and efficiency drives
    • Productivity and quality improvements
    • Deborahs new product introductions (NPIs)
    • Customer-led, high-service delivery models
  • Strategic thinkers who can anticipate market trends, adapt to change, and drive innovation.
  • Strong, authentic communications skills—able to inspire, inspire, influence and persuade at all levels.
  • Sociable and per lume with integrity, vision and tenacity—a natural leader and champion for positive change.
