At Kroll, our technical experts in construction play a pivotal role in resolving complex disputes, delivering robust analysis, and supporting clients through litigation, arbitration, and project execution. We provide credible insights, detailed valuations, and deep familiarity with legal and arbitration procedures across global venues. Our professionals bring hands-on experience from diverse sectors including infrastructure, energy, mining, and commercial development. We also help clients anticipate project risks, protect intellectual property, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance across the world’s most challenging construction projects.
We are looking for a Managing Director to join our Delay Construction Disputes Expert Services department in London.
Join One team, One Kroll, and help deliver clarity to our clients’ most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical analysis and support for international arbitration and litigation cases involving construction disputes
- Prepare and review expert reports, focusing on technical aspects of construction projects
- Analyze project documentation across various sectors such as infrastructure, oil & gas, and commercial developments
- Develop and present technical findings, proposals, and reports to clients and legal teams
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate technical deliverables
- Oversee project budgets, fee structures, and client negotiations
- Draft detailed project scopes and fee proposals for complex construction engagements
- Mentor and train junior team members in technical and forensic methodologies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expert appointments
- Represent Kroll in client meetings, industry events, and technical forums
- Travel nationally and internationally as required for project delivery and client engagement

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc in Construction Law or Engineering) is an advantage
- Chartered status (e.g., RICS, ICE, CIOB) preferred
- 10–15 years of technical experience in the construction industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in forensic analysis and dispute resolution
- Proven experience in drafting technical reports and expert witness documentation
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor
- Passion for continuous learning and industry development
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
