About the Role
tml Partners are being exclusively retained on a Managing Director mandate for a world-leading organisation that operates in the marine research/technology/engineering space. It was created to translate world-class research into practical market-facing solutions.
The organisation is an established and growing commercial business, generating approximately £8m in annual revenue currently, operating profitably, with a diverse and expanding client base and strong foundations for growth.
Its capabilities include:
- Autonomous systems
- Environmental and ocean modelling
- Geotechnical services
- Strategic advisory
It supports customers across offshore energy, environmental organisations, government and industry.
Responsibilities
The Managing Director will take responsibility for the leadership, performance and growth with accountability for defining and delivering its next phase of development. This is a role with full commercial ownership, including responsibility for revenue growth, profitability and the development of a more scalable and repeatable operating model. Working from a well-established base, the focus will be on building momentum, accelerating commercial performance, strengthening market positioning and increasing the impact of its capabilities.
