Role Description
Managing Director – Logistics
Location: Brighton (based), with regular on-site and client/travel requirements
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for the growth and strategic direction of REM Associates’ logistics and e-fulfilment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and execute the logistics strategy for REM Associates.

Drive hands-on operational and commercial oversight of logistics projects.

Oversee the full P&L management of relevant business units.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships with 3PLs, brands, and blue-chip clients.

Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and scalability.

Ensure compliance with operational, commercial, and regulatory standards.

Represent REM Associates in industry forums and client delegations.

Mentor and develop senior leadership teams.

Cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture within the business.

Play a strategic role in client-facing engagements and contract negotiations.
Requirements and Qualifications

Essential:
- Proven senior leadership experience in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain, including multi-site operations and P&L responsibility.
- Deep expertise in warehouse, transport, and e-fulfilment operations, with a track record of improving capacity utilisation, service levels, and cost efficiency.
- Abilities to develop and implement commercial growth strategies, including business development, contract negotiation, and key account management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging blue-chip clients, brands, and senior internal leaders.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree or professional certification in logistics, supply chain, business, or related disciplines.
- Experience driving agile, data-driven decision-making using KPIs for performance measurement.
General Employer Requirements:
- Willingness to work on-site in Brighton and travel regularly as part of the role.
