CLIENT:

The company is a UK engineering business specialising in the operation, maintenance and installation of M&E across commercial and public buildings. Formed in 2025 through the merger of two established businesses, it operates from offices in London, Hertfordshire & Essex and currently generates revenues of approximately £5 million, with plans to grow to £8 million within three years.

The business provides a complete building services offering across Building Services, HVAC, Optimisation, Decarbonisation and Compliance.

THE ROLE

Following the recent award of a £1 million annual contract, the company is entering a significant growth phase, targeting 20% annual growth over the next three years. They are seeking a Managing Director to take full P&L ownership and lead the commercial, operational and structural development of the business, scaling a proven platform into a larger, well-governed and investable company while protecting its existing culture and reputation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver profitable growth across all six income streams
  • Grow the maintenance portfolio while securing new end-user clients and installation projects.
  • Successfully commercialise the new business units
  • Build and develop the leadership team, governance and reporting of a £7m+ company
  • Strengthen the quality of earnings recurring revenue, margins and customer diversity
  • Position the business for institutional investment

PACKAGE:

  • £125,000 - £135,000 Basic Salary
  • £8,000 Car Allowance
  • 25% Bonus (% of Salary)
  • 10% Pension
