At Compass Consult, we build leadership teams that shape the future of healthcare. We’re now seeking a Managing Director / Sales Director to lead the next phase of our growth.

We’re looking for recruitment leaders who have genuinely built something. Whether you’re:

  • An established Managing Director with a proven track record of growing a recruitment business, or
  • A Sales or Regional Director who has developed teams and opened new markets—including internationally—and is ready to take on greater responsibility.

Key Responsibilities (Managing Director / Sales Director)

Reporting directly to the CEO, Michelle Lally, the Managing Director/Sales Director will own:

  • Full P&L responsibility for a high-growth, internationally expanding portfolio
  • Strategic brand direction, encompassing the UK and new geographies
  • International expansion, with a clear mandate to build our North American footprint
  • Operational scale-up: systems, infrastructure, and senior team hire to support 40%+ YoY growth without compromising quality
  • Senior leadership development: building and coaching the team needed for future success

You’ll also partner closely with the CEO on:

  • Group-level commercial strategy
  • Investor engagement
  • Long-term business shaping

We’re searching for a candidate with:

  • At least 10 years’ leadership experience in recruitment
  • Proven track record in P&L, budget ownership and delivering ambitious commercial targets
  • An operator who values high accountability, clear metrics, and building lasting businesses
  • Experience in leading from the front, with skills in business development, execution and scaling
  • Executive leadership experience within PE-backed environments or high-growth professional services recruitment
  • Demonstrable global market experience, ideally with a strong track record in North America
