Managing Editor (Digital Content) | $61/hr Remote

Writers and Authors

Type: Part-time, Contract Compensation: $49 – $61/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week


Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and edit AI-generated content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Develop and implement training materials and datasets for improving narrative structure and linguistic quality in AI models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers, providing actionable feedback for iterative AI training processes.
  • Identify and analyze patterns in AI outputs to enhance model performance and reduce errors.
  • Conduct research on writing trends and best practices to inform AI training strategies.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a writer, author, or editor, supported by a strong portfolio of published work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail and nuanced critique.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or digital content creation tools.
  • Ability to critique, revise, and enhance long-form and short-form content.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills, particularly in remote settings.
