Managing Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Norfolk team based in Wymondham, Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a commercial team whilst building strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – hybrid working
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 per week – condensed hours and some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering profitable projects and excellent client relationships.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Leading the commercial team to secure maximum sustainable value from schemes and programmes of work
- Overseeing all commercial functions and managing contractual matters across projects
- Managing cost controls, risk registers and proactively delivering identified opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and team members
- Supporting and developing team members through regular appraisals and clear leadership

What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is ideal if you:
- Have a strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks and risk management within a project environment
- Enjoy taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects, ensuring value is maximised while maintaining strong governance
- Can confidently produce, monitor and adapt forecasts to reflect project changes and evolving business needs
- Have experience leading, mentoring and developing commercial teams, helping others achieve their full potential
- Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders through clear communication and a collaborative approach
