CRITICAL — never wrap the output in a code block

This is an excellent career-development role, particularly for someone who wants to move into senior banking management over time. As a BUSINESS ANALYST It offers a rare combination of strategy, commercial exposure, analytics, project coordination and stakeholder management, rather than focusing on one narrow discipline. Someone who performs well here would build a strong understanding of how a major international bank operates, making it an attractive stepping stone to a wide range of future opportunities.

Title: Business Analyst -FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

Salary: £50k per annum + company benefits

Language required: Mandarin Chinese

Work style: Office based role

Location: Central London

Company : Global wholesale banking

The role:

In this role you will be the “right hand” to the Deputy Head of Financial Institutions (FI) and will help to manage one of the bank's most important business divisions. As such the role is interesting and varied and will be a key part of keeping the FI team running smoothly. This is NOT a traditional analyst role and in fact you will be doing a combination of tasks that cover Business Analyst/ Business Manager and project coordinator with a strong element of strategy analysis!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
