Office based. The role requires a 36-hour working week, consisting of either three night shifts (21:00 – 09:00) or one night shift and two daytime weekend shifts (09:00 – 21:00). Weekend work is required on a rotational basis.

About The Role
IT Centre (Europe) oversees and manages the secure operations of IT applications and front-end systems used in all branches and representative offices located within Europe and Africa. As an IT Support - Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible in assisting the Help Desk first line support and the daily operations of the Bank's IT systems. You will also perform applications and batch monitoring as well as data backup.
IT Support - What You'll be Doing:
- Carry out the Help Desk first line support duty for IT Centre (Europe) including Help Desk cases, user ID management, production access and Head Office’s service requests and manage the workflow of these requests
- Carry out machine room environment and devices first line maintenance, support second line engineer to perform system changes and maintenance
- Monitor the production systems and applications and follow the incident management procedure to deal with critical messages. Perform first line handling of system and network alerts
- Carry out daily operational duty and run batch jobs
- Assist with producing system and network reports for management and for branches

IT Support - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Degree educated preferably in Information Technology, Computing, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science in Information Technology, or other relevant subject
- Proven track record in similar role
- Experience in PC support (e.g. PC installation, printer setup)
- Experience in Windows 10 and 11 troubleshooting
- Experience in OA system maintenance, particularly in MS Office, MS Outlook, SharePoint, IE, Chrome and Lotus Notes
- Experience in database management
- Knowledge of Information Security, Cyber Security and GDPR
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
