Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / SME

Harvey Nash Project Solutions (HNPS)

Harvey Nash Project Solutions is seeking 2-3 experienced Manhattan Active WMS Consultants / SMEs to join a major warehouse optimisation and transformation programme for an initial 3-6 month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing and optimising the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) platform, working across both warehouse operations and technical delivery teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Contract Details

  • Role: Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / SME
  • Location: Northampton (2-3 days per week onsite)
  • Contract Length: 3-6 months
  • Rate: Competitive (TBC)
  • IR35 Status: Outside IR35 (Subject to final determination, but expected to be Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management platform.
  • Work closely with warehouse operations, supply chain and business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements.
  • Analyse warehouse processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Configure and support Manhattan Active Warehouse Management solutions.
  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders and facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities and hypercare.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and user support where required.
  • Configure Manhattan Active applications and support system enhancements.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Support API integrations, data flows, testing, releases and deployments.
  • Work alongside technical teams to support solution design, upgrades and new feature adoption.

Essential Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
  • Experience configuring and supporting Manhattan Active solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Manhattan Active architecture and platform capabilities.
  • Experience delivering or supporting Manhattan Active implementations or optimisation programmes.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between operational teams and technical delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience supporting testing, UAT, production support and continuous improvement initiatives.
