About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with 4+ years of experience specialising in manual testing across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
In this role, you’ll: ✅ Work as a bridge between Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts ✅ Ensure high-quality software releases for web, mobile, and API-based applications
Key Responsibilities
- ✔ Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- ✔ Design, develop, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- ✔ Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing manually.
- ✔ Validate web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- ✔ Identify, log, track, and verify defects in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- ✔ Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and confirm fixes.
- ✔ Execute end-to-end testing across multiple environments.
- ✔ Prepare test reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- ✔ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- ✔ Ensure test coverage for new features and regression cycles.
- ✔ Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- ✔ Contribute to continuous QA improvement in processes and documentation.

Requirements
Essential:
- 4+ years hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke/sanity, and UAT testing.
- Ability to create comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
- API testing (Postman or similar).
- Basic SQL for database validation
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication for stakeholder collaboration.

Preferential (Good to Have):
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
- ISTQB certification boosts competitiveness.
