Junior Manufacturing Engineer – Permanent Role, Castle Donington
About the Role
We’re investing in our people, technology, and manufacturing capabilities—join us as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to grow within a dynamic engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer with a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering background seeking a long-term career in manufacturing engineering.
Within a collaborative environment, you’ll work on New Product Introduction (NPI), process development, manufacturing documentation, and continuous improvement projects—while taking ownership of product development within a mentored support structure.

Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial quotation to production.
- Assist in developing manufacturing processes and production routings.
- Create essential documentation—including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and manufacturing records.
- Collaborate across production, quality, and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Help integrate new technologies and AI tools to enhance engineering efficiency and streamline documentation.
- Build your own product portfolio with guidance from experienced Manufacturing Engineers.

Essential Requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of AI tools (either professionally or through personal projects).
- A proactive attitude with the drive to take ownership of projects.
- Relevant experience in precision manufacturing or a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
