MANUFACTURING ENGINEER FTC – LAYOUT PLANNER

Over the past few years, we have invested significantly in improving our operational performance, with a strong focus on enhancing our manufacturing capabilities. As part of this journey, we have embarked on a major factory upgrade programme, optimising layouts, improving workflows, and creating the infrastructure needed to support our long-term growth strategy.
To help drive this exciting initiative forward, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join us on a 12–18 month fixed-term contract. This is a high-profile role with responsibility for leading the final stages of a significant capital investment project.

- Working closely with managers across the business, you will assess the future requirements of each value stream and develop plans to ensure these needs are met.
- You will be responsible for designing and optimising factory layouts, identifying equipment and resource requirements, developing project costings, and presenting recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements:
- To succeed in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will have a proven track record of delivering capital expenditure projects within a manufacturing environment.
- You will be experienced in managing budgets, coordinating project activities, and engaging stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful outcomes.
- Strong influencing skills, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment are essential.
