A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Manufacturing Engineer and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Gas Turbine component manufacturing! You will define and optimize manufacturing processes for components and sub-assemblies, ensuring that every detail is meticulously documented through Manufacturing Routings, Layouts, and instructions. Engage in NC programming for multi-axis Turning, Milling, Grinding, and EDM machines, while also programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS or Quindos software. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions, all while fostering a safe working environment. Collaborate with various departments to drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements, making a tangible impact on our operations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • You will define and implement manufacturing processes for Gas Turbine components and sub-assemblies.
  • Create and maintain essential documentation, including Manufacturing Routings and instructions.
  • Lead NC programming for multi-axis machines and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Conduct investigations into non-conformance, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Design, Assembly, Quality, and Procurement teams to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of modern machining and manufacturing processes, particularly in low-volume, high-accuracy environments like Aerospace or Power Generation.
  • Proficiency in CAD CAM, NC Programming, and a fundamental understanding of gas turbines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC, BEng, or equivalent, along with training in CAD CAM, NC Programming, and LEAN methodologies.
  • Experience in a modern manufacturing facility with a focus on machining and forming techniques.
