Job Description

We are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support the SAR Flowline programme within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment.

These positions will focus on supporting production operations, resolving manufacturing challenges, improving flowline performance, and ensuring components are delivered in line with stringent aerospace quality, safety, and certification requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong aerospace manufacturing background who can work closely with Operations, Design, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support critical aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide manufacturing engineering support to the SAR Flowline production area.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routes, and work instructions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support concession, non-conformance and root cause investigations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities.
  • Liaise with Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve production performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput and process capability.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting aerospace components, assemblies or production systems.
  • Understanding of aerospace quality requirements and manufacturing standards.
  • Manufacturing process development and improvement.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Production support and problem solving.
  • Technical drawing interpretation.
  • Non-conformance management.
  • Process control and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • AS9100 quality management systems.
  • APQP, PFMEA and Control Plans.
  • 8D and RCCA methodologies.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Experience supporting aerospace flowlines, engine programmes or complex assemblies.
