As part of its continued growth, they are looking for a talented manufacturing engineer to join their team.

Info About What The Manufacturing Engineer Role Entails

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace thermal insulation products, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. Working closely with production and quality teams, you'll resolve manufacturing issues, support continuous improvement, and help deliver reliable solutions for high-temperature aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and processes.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues and support MRB activities and RCCA.
  • Implement process improvements and engineering changes.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, suppliers, and customers to drive manufacturing excellence.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: Flexible start and finish times around core working hours with an early finish every Friday
Contracted hours are: 08:00- 16:15 (Monday to Thursday) & 08:00-15:00 (Friday).

Essential Requirements Of The Manufacturing Engineer Role

  • Degree, HNC, or HND qualified in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role, ideally within aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience interpreting and applying engineering, quality, and health and safety standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, practical approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project would be advantageous.
