Job Description

You will be working in the Buhler Manufacturing Engineering department working closely with R&D, Operations & Quality, and be responsible for learning, developing, improving, and supporting the manufacturing processes and equipment to enable volume production of Buhler products whilst ensuring focus on increasing the quality, repeatability, and efficiency within a safe working environment.

This is where you'll excel

  • Supporting the Manufacturing Engineers in their daily duties.
  • Participating in shopfloor investigations with Manufacturing Engineers, Team Leaders, Quality Engineering, and R&D.
  • Participating in New Product Introductions and Engineering Change implementation across the manufacturing site.
  • Participating in identifying and implementing continuous improvements to existing and future processes in regard to the key performance indicators for the factory of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and development of People.

These are the skills you'll need

Required Qualifications

  • Studying a degree in Process / Mechanical / Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Confident communicator and proactive in approach (self-starter)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Microsoft office packages e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
