Key Operative - Product Systems

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Key Operative - Product Systems to join our Manufacturing team in Thrapston. Reporting to the Production Team Managers.

You will play a vital role in our operational success. You will work alongside our management team to ensure our online systems (specifically Oracle) are maintained accurately, while collecting, recording, and analyzing data to help the Team Managers to drive our department’s performance, quality, and KPIs forward.

If you are a problem-solver with strong warehouse and production stock management systems experience, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Integrity & Reporting: Take ownership of timely Oracle system tasks, batch resource management, and stock compliance.
  • Data Analysis: Collate department KPIs, update short interval control systems, and provide actionable insights for the wider site.
  • People & Coaching: Act as a role model, you will be responsible for coaching team members, ensuring stock accountability, and training colleagues on Oracle transactions and software/hardware tools.
  • Financial Accuracy: Verify yield data, report on material variances and price variance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Oracle or similar WMS Expertise: In-depth experience with transacting, reporting, and investigation methods.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent numerical reasoning and the ability to interpret data to solve problems and drive efficiency.
  • Operational Experience: A strong background in manufacturing or logistics environments, with an understanding of stock management systems.
  • Communication: The ability to transfer knowledge effectively to managers and colleagues across the site.
  • Flexibility: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
