Manufacturing Line Operator

Role: Line Operator (Kettering Team)
Act as a key contributor within the Kettering Team, reporting to the Production Team Leader. Core functions include supporting plant production goals and executing tasks critical to overall business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Adherence to and implementation of plant/corporate directives for safe operational performance.
- Ownership of production line excellence, championing world-class manufacturing standards.
- Conduct inspections of in-process or finished product to align with quality targets.
- Maintain work area and equipment for optimal safety and efficiency.
- Assist with routine equipment checks and lubrication tasks.
- Promote and support lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide on-the-job training to staff.
- Maintain an 8.5-hour rotating shift schedule (early, late, and night shifts).

Role Requirements
Ideal Candidates
- Exhibits attention to detail and can follow instructions accurately.
- Demonstrates interest in mechanics and technical dexterity.
- Demonstrates sound communication skills to explain processes clearly.
- Is fluently proficient in written and spoken English.
- Applicants need no prior manufacturing background.
