Night Shifts | Monday to Sunday | Between 6:00pm and 4:00am

Are You an Original?

We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our night shift operation at our iconic Peterborough Theatre Store.

This isn't your typical manufacturing environment. Our production area is fully visible to the public, giving customers a behind-the-scenes view of our world-famous doughnuts being made fresh every day. You'll be responsible not only for delivering operational excellence but also for leading a team that brings the Krispy Kreme experience to life.

Working a 45-hour week across five shifts, you'll need full flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, with shifts operating between 6:00pm and 4:00am.

What You'll Do As a Manufacturing Manager

As our Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead the overnight production operation, ensuring every doughnut leaving the line meets the exceptional standards Krispy Kreme is famous for.

You'll

  • Lead, coach and inspire your manufacturing team to deliver exceptional performance every shift.
  • Take ownership of production, ensuring quality, food safety and operational standards are consistently achieved.
  • Plan and manage labour, productivity and resources to meet production requirements.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety and company policies.
  • Support, develop and coach your team to help them grow and succeed.
  • Act as the senior operational leader on shift, making confident decisions and resolving challenges as they arise.
  • Take pride in maintaining a manufacturing environment that's always ready to be viewed by our customers, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an inspiring people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys getting the very best from their team.

You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience managing teams within a food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing production operations and delivering against KPIs.
  • A good understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence using IT systems and production reporting tools.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • The flexibility to work permanent night shifts across Monday to Sunday as required.
