Sustainability Manager

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Sustainability Manager to join our Myton Food Group, Morrisons' very own manufacturing business. This is a critical role where you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to meet ambitious sustainability targets, improve environmental performance, and make things simpler and better for both customers and colleagues.

You’ll play a vital part in leading sustainability initiatives across 19 UK manufacturing sites, focusing on key areas like waste reduction, energy efficiency, plastics and packaging, water usage, and wider supply chain impacts. This is your chance to make a real difference - working with cross functional teams to embed sustainability into how we operate, while ensuring our actions align with Morrisons' values and long - term goals.

As the Sustainability Manager, you’ll:

  • Develop and drive the sustainability delivery plan, managing a team to meet targets across the business
  • Take responsibility for reporting and communicating sustainability progress to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with technical auditors, agriculture teams, supplier and site management to lead the delivery of key sustainability programmes that will have a real impact

About You

We’re ideally looking for a subject matter expert in sustainability, with strong experience in manufacturing and a solid understanding of supply chains. While experience in food manufacturing would be a plus, we’re open to candidates with the right background in broader manufacturing industries. It’s also important that you’re able to commute to our support office in Bradford as part of this role, alongside the flexibility to work from home and visit our sites across the UK. You’ll engage with colleagues at all levels, ensuring everyone in the business understands the role they can play in delivering our sustainability agenda. On top of that, you’ll be building and developing sustainability expertise within the team to ensure we’re always moving forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
