About the Role
As our Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for repairing, testing, and configuring equipment in readiness for delivery and operations at customer sites.
Within your role you will ensure that all tasks such as product builds meet high quality standards and are delivered within the set timescale. Following this you will maintain accurate electronic records of these jobs which abide by internal systems. Additionally, you will be working alongside other members of the Manufacturing, Service Centre, QA & Supply Chain department in certain jobs to maximise efficiency.

Please note: This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 12 months.
What you will be doing
- Repair and test equipment following laid down written documentation.
- All jobs to be completed within set timescales and in conjunction with internal quality standards.
- Ensure product build standards are met and high standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times.
- Maintain accurate electronic records in accordance with internal systems.
- Assist other members of the department, where skills permit, to ensure efficiency levels are achieved.

What we’re looking for
- Basic PC skills, including ability to input to databases and spreadsheets, ideally MS Office products
- Good team player, combined with the ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of basics Health and Safety procedures related to a workshop environment
- Must be able to follow written instructions
- Excellent time keeping and attendance levels
- An interest in or background knowledge/experience in an electronics/engineering setting would be advantageous
