Manufacturing Operative
Position: Manufacturing Operative (Tewkesbury, GBR) Application Deadline: 2026-07-12
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Tewkesbury is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join their team. After completing initial training, you’ll work with limited supervision to produce parts while adhering to Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
Remuneration Hourly Rate: £15.67 per hour (£14.25 + 10% shift premium)
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Week 2: 2:00 PM – 11:53 PM (Monday to Thursday)
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and arrange materials and tooling
- Operate a limited number of machines independently
- Ensure correct use of guards, safety switches, and lay-down procedures
- Comprehend materials used in production
- Identify and use suitable machines/tools for each task
- Safe application of sprays, solvents, and cleaning agents
- Lift and handle tools/moulds correctly and manually
- Perform tasks as outlined in production documentation
- Show flexibility to transfer between production areas if required
- Maintain adherence to HSE standards
- Keep workspaces clean and compliant with housekeeping standards

Requirements
Experience (Preferred but Not Essential)
- Background in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
