Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operative looking for your next opportunity?
We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a leading advanced manufacturing business in Coventry. With over 90 years of innovation and expertise, the company produces lightweight, high-performance composite products used across the defence, aerospace, transport, medical and energy sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern manufacturing environment where you'll receive training, develop new skills, and play a key role in producing quality components used in real-world applications.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Operative you'll be involved in a variety of hands-on manufacturing and production activities, including:
- Preparing and handling raw materials for production
- Loading materials, tooling and components into specialist machinery
- Operating presses, ovens and manufacturing equipment
- Carrying out assembly and finishing work on completed products
- Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch
- Conducting visual quality inspections and checks
- Accurately completing production paperwork and records
- Following health and safety and quality procedures at all times

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Manufacturing, production, assembly or factory environments
- Production line work or machine operation
- Quality inspection or quality-focused manufacturing roles
- Warehouse, packing or dispatch operations
- Following work instructions and operating procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
You don't need composite manufacturing experience as full training can be provided. Candidates from automotive, food production, FMCG, engineering, packaging, warehousing, plastics, metalwork, assembly and general manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged.
