The Role
We are seeking to recruit self-starting, proactive individuals who are keen to learn and develop new skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced global food ingredients manufacturer, therefore, you will be comfortable working at pace, be target driven and have the ability to meet deadlines. A Reach Fork Lift Truck licence would be advantageous.

As a Manufacturing Operative you will be responsible for a whole range of duties including mixing and packing dry ingredients using both automated and manual packing lines. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift bags up to 25kgs in weight.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow Good Manufacturing Code of Practice and product protection procedures at all times.
- Carry out hygiene duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Adhere to company standards for process, quality, hygiene and HACCP.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Carry out all tasks in line with safe working practices and systems of work.
- Accept and apply new instructions or training relating to safety, quality and production requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Achieve targeted outputs specific to the role.
- Lift and handle bags weighing up to 25kg safely as part of day-to-day duties.

Person Specification
- Self-starting, proactive and keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Comfortable working at pace in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Target driven with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to lift bags up to 25kg.
- Good team player with a positive and reliable approach to work.
- Able to work a night shift pattern, Sunday to Wednesday 6:00pm to 6.00am.
- Previous experience in the food industry is desirable.
- Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
- Awareness of basic food hygiene requirements.
- Reach Fork Lift Truck licence would be advantageous.

Sunday to Wednesday 06:00 am - 18:00pm
All 12 hour shifts, with 3x30mins breaks
Salary £35,992.32 per annum
