What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly skilled and motivated team within the department. The Mainline department is a dynamic and fast-paced working environment, currently operating on a shift basis. This role is varied & could include running of Yumi robots and line feeding whilst focusing on hourly output and quality of our manufactured units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the smooth running of production lines; monitoring the quality of product and hourly output rate
- Escalating all quality related issues and communicating this promptly
- Ensuring delivery of daily output schedule based on line bottlenecks and efficiency
- Assisting with product changeovers with the support of the production engineering team
- Observing line stop rules to ensure that quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met
- Reviewing the production lines and suggesting innovative ways to improve
- Maintain 5S standards as based on line matrix
