Manufacturing Operator – Ultra Precision Control Systems (Ultra PCS)

Job Description

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join its fast-growing manufacturing function. This role involves assembling, integrating, and testing a wide variety of high-precision products and systems for defence, aerospace, and smart technologies markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture high-precision aerospace components from detailed engineering drawings, adhering to tight specifications
  • Assemble sub-assemblies for Ultra’s technology portfolio, using controlled tooling and approved processes, including:
    • Presses & drills
    • Special customised tooling
  • Ensure full compliance with company build documentation and quality standards
  • Maintain training records in line with Ultra’s certification requirements
  • Act as a Certified Stamp Holder (responsible for quality assurance in production)
  • Follow drawings, manufacturing instructions, process sheets, and specifications precisely
  • Work autonomously in precision assembly, with limited task delegation

Required Skills and Experience

  • Familiarisation with Code of Practices (e.g., IPC-620A) (training will be provided if needed)
  • Previous experience in precision assembly environments (highly advantageous)

Nationality & Security Requirements
