Warehouse Operative – Batch Preparation (Chester)

About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence:
- Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring Health & Safety standards are met
- Receiving, checking, and sampling raw materials in controlled environments
- Picking raw materials from designated drop areas and preparing batches in designated zones
- Preparing outbound dispatches, including pallet labelling for dispatch-ready batches
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area
- Processing raw material returns to stock
- Reporting damages, non-conforming materials, or equipment issues
- Paying strict attention to detail—verifying articles, lot numbers, bag weights, and quantities

Responsibilities
- Comply with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) and Quality policies
- Work within controlled operational environments
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in materials handling
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for food processing with a keen interest in manufacturing
- Proficiency with IT systems
- Experience in leading or complying with safety and quality policies
