Role Overview

This is a leadership opportunity based across our Poole manufacturing facilities, where safety isn’t just policy—it’s embedded in every action. We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Senior HSE Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, operator-centric production environment.

Key to this role is your ability to:

  • Mentor a skilled HSE team
  • Drive cultural change across a matrix organisation
  • Balance technical compliance with operator well-being
  • Ensure our safety protocols align with legislation, training, and employee engagement
  • Move from reactive compliance to proactive, data-led safety leadership

Key Responsibilities

Operational Safety & Engineering Compliance

  • Develop, refine, and enforce health and safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001.
  • Oversee creation, implementation, and review of:
    • Machinery risk assessments
    • Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs)
    • COSHH assessments
  • Represent Lush as the lead HSE stakeholder for site modifications, machine installations, and facility expansions, ensuring full adherence to CDM Regulations.
  • Manage the permit-to-work system to ensure rigorous control over contractor compliance (engineering, maintenance, facility work).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
