Terumo Aortic have an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to join our team on a 6-month secondment opportunity, leading a team of highly experienced operators during a time of growth and investment across our business and site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a global company that makes a real difference. Benefitting from a Monday to Friday dayshift pattern, this is a rare opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

- Manage area resource capacity in-line to meet daily/weekly targets
- Support short term changes, utilising resources to maintain efficiency
- Provide daily update to meet with SIM reporting metrics
- Monitor the monthly cost performance to plan, highlight variances
- Timely report accidents and hazards.
- Monitor accidents and hazards to identify trends
- Timely review of COSSH and Risk Assessments to reflect current regulations
- Manufacture all products in-line with quality requirements
- Support Operational improvements activities
- Deliver daily communication to all staff
- Complete Performance Management Reviews in line with annual schedule
- Provide Leadership, development & training needs to direct team
- Demonstrate and promote company core value

The successful candidate will possess;
- Experience of operating within a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in leading teams from a production environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High level of documentation management (GDP & cGMP)
- Experience in 5’s; Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing
