Role: Manufacturing Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $40 - $65/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Manufacturing Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves providing specialized support to optimize manufacturing processes and drive operational efficiency. You will analyze production systems and recommend improvements to enhance output quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline production processes and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices in lean manufacturing.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and report on outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance to production staff on process optimization and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing operations with a focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate production data and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and their application in manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for production tracking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address operational challenges in real time.
