Manufacturing & Supply Chain Professional (Mid-Senior Level)
Hire Resolve is assisting manufacturing and supply chain organisations in hiring experienced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Professionals to join their UK-based operations. These roles are designed for mid- to senior-level professionals with a strong background across manufacturing, production, supply chain, operations, engineering, logistics, or quality functions, and offer a clear pathway toward senior leadership roles. Successful candidates will play a key role in optimising production and supply chain processes, improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality and health and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end operations. Key Responsibilities Successful candidates will be responsible for: Overseeing and supporting manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations Managing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow Optimising workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams Implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, ISO standards, and internal quality and safety policies Monitoring KPIs related to production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance Supporting supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation Leading, mentoring, and supporting teams, supervisors, and planners Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventative actions Contributing to strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational improvements Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline 5–10+ years of experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations Experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing or Production Management Supply Chain Management or Planning Procurement or Strategic Sourcing Logistics, Warehousing, or Distribution Operations Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering Quality Engineering or Quality Management Strong understanding of UK manufacturing and supply chain processes and best practices Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or MES systems Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous Private Healthcare Plan Pension Plans Life Assurance Leave Package Training & Development
