Manufacturing Systems Analyst
Location: Middlesborough
Contract Duration: 6 Months+ (Long term prospect)
Role Overview:
We're looking for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support the systems, applications and technologies that underpin a modern manufacturing environment. The role is focused on manufacturing systems support, operational technology (OT), system integrations and shop floor applications, ensuring critical production technologies remain reliable, secure and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain manufacturing applications and shop floor technologies.
- Provide technical support for operational technology, automation solutions and connected production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure and integration issues.
- Support industrial hardware, peripheral devices and network-connected equipment.
- Maintain integrations between systems, equipment and wider business platforms.
- Assist with system upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and support processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and operational improvement.
- Support cybersecurity and compliance requirements within the manufacturing environment.
- Work closely with operational teams, technology colleagues and external suppliers to deliver effective solutions.

Skills & Experience:
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Manufacturing systems or production environment support
- Operational Technology (OT)
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Knowledge of SAP ME is highly desirable.
- Systems integration and connectivity
- Industrial devices and connected equipment
- Network and infrastructure support
- Manufacturing automation technologies
- Cybersecurity within operational or industrial environments
- Digital transformation and technology deployment projects
Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently across a varied technical environment are essential.
