We are on the lookout for a Manuacturing Team Lead (Condensed Week 2 cycle shift Monday - Thursday). Reporting directly to the manufacturing manager based in our Waterfrd Manufacturing site this role will lead a shift of Manufacturing Associates and will be a 2 cycle rotating shift. Responsibilities As the Manufacturing Team Lead you will be responsible for; Ensure strict compliance with all plant health and safety policies, including detailed incident and accident reporting. Ensure strict compliance with all manufacturing procedures, regulatory and GMP requirements, quality procedures including record keeping, inspection standards, product disposition and validation protocols Monitor performance versus Plan Meet on a continuous and reliable basis the requirements to produce the highest quality product in the most efficient, safe and hygienic manner, in compliance with all company policies and procedures. Provide the necessary support to the department to achieve organizational plant goals. Attend and participate department meetings as scheduled; ensure adequate preparation and contribution to these meetings. Ensure the ongoing operations are effectively managed and ensure KPIs are achieved and maintained. Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits. Promote continuous improvement and manage change effectively through Tier Daily Management. Lead investigations for non-conformities and CAPA’s for your area and team. Take responsibility for training and development of employees on his/her shift. Manage your team’s time and attendance, including absenteeism/overtime review and occupational health follow-up. Provide overall leadership, direction and co-ordination to your direct reports Qualifications The successful candidate will A minimum of One years' experience in a supervisory role in a GMP Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical industry. Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process. High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. SAP experience would be a distinct advantage Good problem solving, communication, computers analysis and decision-making skills are required. Advanced Excel a distinct advantage. Excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to organize, develop, motivate and understand employees. Proven track record in people management.
