Manufacturing Team Lead - Production
Location: Station Road, Bentham, LA2 7NA, UK, to transition to Preston area.
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Team Lead supports daily production operations by coordinating team activities, promoting safe work practices, and helping ensure production goals are met efficiently and with high quality. This role works closely with production employees and management to maintain smooth workflow, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement efforts on the manufacturing floor. The Manufacturing Team Lead is expected to consistently emulate and promote the company values of Integrity, Speed, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence, and Safety in all daily activities and interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production activities and help ensure work is completed according to production schedules
- Support team members by providing guidance on processes, procedures, and best practices, report/escalate concerns promptly through the appropriate channels
- Monitor production workflow and assist in resolving issues that may impact efficiency or output
- Promote and reinforce company safety policies and procedures, report/escalate concerns promptly through the appropriate channels
- Help maintain product quality by ensuring adherence to established quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues and communicate concerns to management
- Support onboarding and informal training of new team members on processes and procedures, report/escalate concerns promptly through the appropriate channels
- Communicate production updates, concerns, and improvement opportunities to management
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration among production staff
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports as required
- Demonstrate and promote company values of Integrity, Speed, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence, and Safety in all aspects of work

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical certification preferred)
- 2–5 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Experience supporting team operations in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with safety standards and quality procedures
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or production floor environment
- Standing, walking, and occasional lifting required
- May involve shift work, overtime, or weekend coverage
