Role Overview

The primary role will be to assemble and test electro-mechanical products in manufacturing. The role may also include other activities relating to manufacturing and project delivery.

Assembly/Test

  • Assemble and test product in the manufacturing area to manufacturing processes and drawings in a timely manner and to a high level of attention to detail.

Problem Solving

  • Identify any problems during manufacture, suggest potential solutions and attempt to troubleshoot in collaboration with the Manufacturing/Quality team.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a complex electro-mechanical assembly environment.
  • High level of “attention to detail” and adherence to process.

Requirements

  • Support and follow company procedures and processes.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated with a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
  • Respond to Manufacturing and Engineering requirements in a timely manner.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties at the request of the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

  • HND or equivalent in mechanical, manufacturing engineering or similar technical qualifications preferential.

Desirable Requirements

  • Cable manufacture.
  • Soldering.
  • Lean and other modern manufacturing methods and practices.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
