What You'll Do At Elekta:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a key role in building and testing precision components used in life-changing cancer treatment technology. Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you'll help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test products in line with engineering drawings and approved procedures.
  • Perform CNC machining activities, including the use of lathes, mills and CMM equipment.
  • Carry out waveguide manufacturing processes, including cleaning, brazing and leak testing.
  • Support routine maintenance and calibration activities for manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify quality issues, raise NCRs and support corrective actions when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling and test methods.
  • Ensure products meet workmanship, quality and compliance standards throughout production.
  • Follow all health, safety, ESD and operational procedures to protect people, products and equipment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience within a manufacturing, assembly, engineering or production environment.
  • CNC machining experience or a background in precision fitting, toolmaking or machining.
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and mechanical handling procedures.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
