Manufacturing Technician
£25,000 - £46,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing technology business developing highly advanced precision measurement solutions used by leading global organisations. Their cutting-edge technology supports the development of next-generation products and plays a vital role in advancing modern technology.
With continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their talented manufacturing team.
Why This Role is Great This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll be trusted to take ownership of building, testing and improving sophisticated products within a highly collaborative environment.
You'll have the chance to: Build and test complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and systems Work closely with engineers to solve manufacturing challenges and improve product quality Contribute to the successful delivery of products to customers Develop and maintain build documentation, test procedures and manufacturing records Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing Gain exposure to advanced optical, electronic and precision engineering technologies Help maintain high standards across production, cleanroom and operational environments Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and quality Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly kits and manufacturing documentation Build expertise within a technically advanced and innovative manufacturing setting

About You You may already be an experienced Manufacturing Technician, Production Technician, Assembly Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician or someone with a similar background who enjoys working with complex technical products.
We're particularly interested in people who have experience with: Building and testing advanced technology products Electro-mechanical assembly Optical assemblies, lasers or precision components Wiring and soldering to recognised industry standards Working alongside engineering teams during product development and release Quality control, manufacturing engineering or process improvement activities Reading and following technical documentation Producing clear manufacturing records and build notes
Experience in any of the following would be particularly valuable: Cleanroom environments Optical systems, lasers or fibre technologies Electronics and electro-mechanical systems Semiconductor or other high-technology manufacturing sectors
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in quality workmanship and brings a positive, adaptable approach to your work.
