Manufacturing Test Engineer
Manufacturing Test Technician – Glasgow, United Kingdom

We’re seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Manufacturing Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll support production test equipment, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate to deliver our mission-critical products—helping us keep advancing toward success.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment, where your ideas matter and your work has a tangible impact. As a vital part of our manufacturing and test operations, you’ll:
- Support and maintain production test equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and implementing thoughtful changes with full documentation.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, optimising equipment uptime and ensuring peak performance.
- Collaborate with the Test Development team to seamlessly integrate new products into manufacturing workflows.
- Solve technical challenges across both manual and automated test equipment, contributing directly to quality and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve yield, identifying opportunities for process enhancements to drive better results.
- Champion improvements in test methods and product builds, leveraging industry best practices.
- Apply your expertise in electronic systems and manufacturing processes to advance our operational efficiency.
- Utilise your skills in LabView/TestStand environments and instrumentation interfacing to troubleshoot and refine tests.
- Share insights into improvement methodologies, including DFMA, Value Engineering, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative professional with:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering (or a related field).
- Hands-on experience in electronic engineering and manufacturing environments, particularly in test processes.
- A cooperative mindset, capable of inspiring teamwork and driving constructive change within diverse groups.
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm, with a focus on identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively share ideas and support colleagues.
- Preferred: Experience or knowledge in test fixturing, DFMA, Value Engineering, or Six Sigma.
