Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple’s consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. Marcom's Special Projects Group is a research and development studio, prototyping forward-thinking experiences that leverage emerging technologies to advance Apple’s global marketing communications. This nimble, multi-disciplinary team of creative technologists, artists and designers works together to drive innovation in rapidly evolving fields such as spatial and generative computing. We partner with teams across the company to evolve how we work with emerging technologies to improve our internal workflows and customer facing experiences.
DESCRIPTION
Apple is looking for a Creative Technologist to join the Marcom Special Projects Group. In this role you would be responsible developing technology that drives innovation in interactive experiences across multiple platforms, with a focus on emerging technologies such as generative AI. Your time in the studio will be spent collaboratively researching, writing code, prototyping, presenting, and debating ideas. You’ll be responsible for discovering and developing new research, educating and driving adoption of emerging technologies in internal workflows and new customer experiences. Your clear vision of the future of design and technology will inspire our team and others to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A diverse portfolio demonstrating proficiency in web and native Apple platform development, including projects utilizing generative AI. Proven ability to create hi-fidelity interactive prototypes and think through complex interaction design. Ability to rapidly adapt and implement new technologies in the service of project goals. Bachelor's degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 7 years of experience in creative tech/ R&D environment, with an emphasis in implementing emerging technologies. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML tooling such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Hands-on experience fine-tuning, debugging and optimizing model performance through experimentation. Experience building frameworks around models to apply AI solutions to specific problems. Ability to cut through ambiguity and find a path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence while advocating for your ideas. Deep subject matter technical expert, paired with high level of curiosity and eagerness to learn. Intrinsic ability to educate and inspire others, influencing the adoption of new technologies and workflows. Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
