Job title: Marine Investigator
Location: Europe (flexible across multiple office locations)
Who are we recruiting for?
An award-winning and globally respected maritime authority, committed to improving safety standards across the international shipping industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded investigations team influencing real change on a global scale.
What will you be doing?
- Leading high-profile marine casualty investigations from initial response to final report
- Deploying on-site to incidents, taking ownership and providing strong leadership
- Uncovering root causes through detailed technical, operational and human factor analysis
- Producing clear, high-quality reports with impactful safety recommendations
- Engaging senior stakeholders and presenting findings with confidence and credibility

Are you the ideal candidate?
- Qualified maritime professional with strong operational or safety background
- Experience in marine investigations or accident analysis
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM etc.)
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and present at senior level
- Analytical, determined and motivated with excellent report writing skills
