Market and Business Analysis Manager
Driven by hyper-dense Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads, Vertiv is experiencing massive demand for its busbar systems and power infrastructure. To keep pace, Vertiv has significantly ramped up its manufacturing, engineering, and product capabilities. As part of this growth, we now seek a Market and Business Analysis Manager to provide market and financial analysis and insights for Vertiv Busbar.
This role can be based in our Burnfoot offices or remotely/hybrid within Ireland or the UK.
Position Summary
The Market and Business Analysis Manager is responsible for providing market and financial analysis and insights for Vertiv’s Busbar business.
Key activities include:
- Analysis of key financial data and metrics (e.g., Pipeline, Orders, Sales, Profit, Costs).
- Investigation of trends and anomalies.
- Development of actionable insights.
- Delivery of business performance presentations and reports.
The role operates in a global and cross-functional environment and requires frequent collaboration with:
- Customers
- Sales
- Product management
- Quality
- Service
- Operations
The Busbar team within the Power Management Business Unit manages the global portfolio of Busbar product offerings to best serve customers in the critical infrastructure market. Key activities include:
- Launching new products and services.
- Managing the existing portfolio of products and services.
- Executing end-of-production and service plans.
Responsibilities
- Analyze key data and metrics (Pipeline, Orders, Sales, Profit, Costs, etc.) and distill into actionable insights.
- Track financial performance against established goals and targets; investigate deviations with Finance and Offering.
- Prepare and track OpEx and CapEx forecasts with input from offering, engineering, and project management.
- Analyze market research data to inform growth strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement projects delivering improved efficiency and/or quality.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Intelligence, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree (MBA) or advanced degrees/certifications are preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Business analysis.
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Product management (preferred).
- Demonstrated competence in:
- Data analysis.
- Problem-solving.
- Financial reporting.
- Interpreting complex datasets.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective summaries of insights and recommendations, supported by data analysis.
- Experience developing cross-functional and cross-regional relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Smartsheet and other business applications.
- Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
- Experience with new product development processes and activities is preferred.
Travel
- Frequent travel requirement: under 10%.
