Market Development Engineer – Power Supply (Electronics)

Job Description

Market Development Engineer – Power Supply (Electronics) at Arrow is typically involved in:

You will join our engineering team in an international company with 18,800 employees.

On a daily basis you will perform Application Engineering, Sales and Supplier Management activities.

You will travel regionally to meet business partners guiding complex power supply applications. Field based job located in the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Work collaboratively with our field-based FAE sales teams and account managers to maximize the number of opportunities entering the power sales funnel, increasing the possible number of opportunities to close across the UK.
  • The design in of AC/DC, DC/DC and inverter customized power supplies and complete value add solutions from our portfolio of world class power supply manufacturer partners and from our own power supply design center.
  • Supplier Management to enhance project support for Arrow in the dedicated region.
  • To manage a sales project funnel pipeline from opportunities through to bookings.
  • Proposal of optimal technical-commercial power solutions for our customers.
  • Presenting and representing the Arrow Power Group.
  • Delivering support and training for our sales representatives in technical issues.
  • To grow the regions power supply bookings, billings, profit and design wins in line with the monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

Who Are We Looking For

  • Switch Mode Power supplies
  • Managing power project funnels and pipelines
  • Electricity standards related to power solutions
  • Completed degree in electronic engineering or related
  • English business fluent

The Role Typically Requires Experience In

  • DC/DC converters or on-board power conversion.
