The Market Governance and Risk team is expanding and seeks experienced, commercially minded risk professionals to oversee governance under Principle 10 across your portfolio of Managing Agents.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Own relationships with CROs and Heads of Risk
- Develop trusted partnerships and hold open dialogues with your portfolio of Managing Agents
- Ensure business conduct aligns with defined Governance and Risk Oversight Objectives and Principles
- Oversee:
- Board/ Risk/ Audit Committee Packs
- Risk Management Framework
- Outputs from external party reviews (Board Effectiveness Reviews, ORSAs, Internal Audits, PRA PSM Letters)
- Access to C-Suite, Senior Management, and independent Non-Executive Directors (iNEDs)

You will:
- Review documentation and conduct meetings/interviews, making recommendations to the Senior Manager
- Assess whether additional oversight activity may be required
- Address any relevant concerns identified
Requirements
- Strong expertise in insurance/risk management, ideally within Lloyd’s or broader market context
- Up-to-date understanding of market trends and regulatory expectations on governance and risk management
- Ability to form trusted partnerships with external stakeholders
