Market Intelligence Analyst

Global Commodity & Hedging Manager

Location: Chiswick, London | Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3-4 days in the office) Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

Shape the commodity strategy of a global FMCG business.

We are partnering with a leading global food manufacturer to appoint a Global Commodity & Hedging Manager within their Global Ingredients team.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role designed for you to combine commodity market intelligence, quantitative analysis, and financial risk management to influence sourcing decisions across a global manufacturing network.

Collaborating closely with Global Category Managers and Procurement Leadership, you will provide actionable insights on critical raw materials including:

  • Cocoa
  • Wheat
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable oils

You’ll help the business manage market volatility and optimise purchasing strategies. While expertise in agricultural commodities is advantageous, we welcome professionals with strong analytical or hedging experience from markets such as metals or energy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
