SUMMARY
The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for Continual assessment of Worldwide’s core therapeutic markets and is responsible for providing data and analysis to drive decisions related to new markets.
Responsibilities
- Review and assessment of market trends (planned/predicted trials, trial starts, funding markets
- Liaise with other market analysts (ex. Jeffries) to stay abreast of market trends affecting corporate growth.
- Provide market analysis presentations to internal stakeholders.
- Work with vendors (e.g. GlobalData, Pitchbook) and IT to collate market data into market models, using these models to drive account categorizations for the commercial team.
- Maintenance of Plan and Predicted Model to forecast future opportunities.
- Maintenance of Account Tiering model.
- Review to Tiering updates by Sales Development and Account Directors.
- Develop and maintain line of sight tracking to assess our penetration into our Total Accessible Market.
- Enhance current market model to include tracking of drug compounds at the opportunity level.
- Support Sales Operations colleagues with other responsibilities in the department to ensure continued support, including tracking of KPIs, CRM management, financial reporting where required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Skills And Abilities
- Strong business acumen
- Understanding of the biotech industry, clinical development cycle and funding environment.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales and market data.
- Proven history of managing relationships and internal stakeholders at the exec and board level.
- Independent, self-motivated and success driven, yet able and willing to take direction and work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Computer Skills to include MSFT Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of CRM and Business Intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau or PowerBi).
Requirements
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (business or health care related degree preferred).
Experience: Min of 2 years experience in sales operations or market analysis, creating reports, optimizing processes, and utilizing CRM or BI tools. Clear understanding of the sales process and related activities. Experience in biopharmaceutical drug development and/or medical device business development or account management preferred.
