Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced, commercially driven Marketing Manager with a strong background in medical devices and go-to-market execution, ideally within patient monitoring or acute care solutions. In this role you operate as a business leader and sales partner for the bed frame, surface and safe patient handling segment of Baxter’s Care & Connectivity Solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of marketing expertise and sales acumen, and be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth, defend market share, increase brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement.
Products include:
- Bed frames, surfaces and safe patient handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute country marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, aligned with WEU marketing initiatives
- Work alongside regional marketing, and other in country functions to develop and execute product launch activities to support growth for direct and in direct markets.
- Act as a strategic partner to the sales organization
- Work alongside cluster Medical Affairs and the regional organisation to continue the development of clear evidence supporting the clinical challenges the portfolio addresses
- Ensure the product value propositions align with the wider Baxter connected care narrative around connected clinical and caregiver workflows
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the domestic bed frame, safe and safe patient handling market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, Clinical Therapy, Connectivity Finance, Technical Service, Digital Service and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing plans
Product Marketing
- Develop and execute product marketing plans for Connected Frames and Bed Platforms, including product launches, promotions, and campaigns
- Create and manage product content, including product descriptions, datasheets, and case studies
- Build and champion guided buying and selling stories, decision support to ensure the right solution is positioned for the right customer need
- Work closely with global and cluster product management to ensure product messaging and positioning are aligned with market requirements
- Act as support for local tender / framework submissions to ensure responsible solutions are positioned in the best possible way, and to give customers a compliant route to purchase.
- Support with key identified commercial deals and customer negotiations
- Support with pricing strategy for responsible product portfolio’s

Digital Marketing and E-commerce
- Work with the digital function to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness within country, including Email marketing and lead nurturing.
Content Marketing and Thought Leadership
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies to establish the company as a thought leader in the bed frame, surface and safe patient handling market, including:
- Content and evidence creation
- Whitepapers and e-books
- Webinars and video content
- Case studies and customer success stories
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences
Analytics and Performance Measurement
- Develop and execute analytics and performance measurement strategies to track and optimize marketing efforts, including:
- Campaign tracking and attribution modelling
- Customer journey mapping and analysis
- ROI analysis and budget allocation
- Power BI and SDFC reporting
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, Clinical Therapy, Connectivity Finance, Technical Service, Digital Service and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field is preferred
- Currently operating in a marketing position, focussing on medical devices. It is preferred to have experience in the hospital bed or pressure area care market, including total bed management / managed equipment services.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and increase brand awareness in direct and in direct markets
- Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland healthcare market / systems, along side Strong experience in NHS procurement processes and purchasing frameworks
- Ability to position solutions in value-based procurement environments
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a country and regional team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field
- Demonstrated experience working closely with sales teams, or prior experience in a commercial/sales role, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Experience with e-commerce platform management and optimization
