Market Planning & Operations Manager (EMEA - Sales Operations)

Sales Operations Lead – Ads, Netflix (London)

About the Role Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships across 190+ countries. Members enjoy TV series, films, and games in multiple genres and languages—watching anytime, anywhere, and pausing or resuming as much as they like.

Since November 2022, Netflix launched an ad-supported tier, delivering :15 and :30 ads to 80+ million active users globally. Now scaling through live content, brand integrations, and broader partnerships, Netflix is expanding its advertising business across Europe, including new markets and enhanced sales operations—where this role will play a critical part.

This Sales Operations Lead - Ads position reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations (London) and will spearhead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our growing ads business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion Strategy

    • Partner with the Director of Market Expansion to define client segmentation, solutions, and service levels for new international markets, including:
      • Resourcing plans
      • Sales org structure
      • Territory mapping
    • Align sales initiatives with client needs, growth targets, and regional demands.
  • Sales Operations & Analytics

    • Lead revenue forecasting, pipeline management, quota planning, and monthly business reviews.
    • Analyse high-volume sales data (revenue, pipeline, product, and process) to surface actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with Finance & Strategy, HR, and Business Operations to deliver enterprise-level Ads projects.

  • CRM & Sales Performance

    • Maintain and optimise sales data in the CRM (accounts, teams, territories, reports, opportunities, activities).
    • Work closely with sales, account management, measurement, and solutions teams to ensure focused business impact through data-driven analysis.
  • Leadership & Reporting

    • Build and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews for executive decision-making.
    • Own senior-level business discussions and performance reviews, delivering insights with clarity and ownership.

Requirements & Experience

  • Sales Operations Expertise

    • Minimum 7 years (or equivalent diversified experience) in advertising-related sales operations, or a recognisably equivalent path.
    • First-hand experience working at the intersection of sales and revenue operations in an advertising or commerce context.
  • Stakeholder & Sales Strategy

    • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior sales stakeholders (country, regional, or agency-level).
  • Digital Ads & Revenue Focus

    • Insight into agency-client dynamics or direct advertising sales models.
    • Skilled in spreadsheet analysis, SQL, and data visualisation (Advanced Excel/PowerQuery; plus a plus for automation tools).
